diaper moments

This afternoon Zoe fell asleep in her carseat. Nothing out of the ordinary. After all, we had been at the new house working, and on the way back to our temporary home, she fell asleep. I carry her & the carseat inside the house and gently pick her out of her carseat to lay her in her crib for her afternoon nap.

She stay asleep!! Success!!

However.

I notice that her diaper is wet. Not wet like I could leave it and change it after her nap. But wet like could break the dam of a river and cause a flood. So I quietly take her little bitty pants off and change her diaper. All the while, Little Miss stays asleep.

Until.

Almost the end of this process. She wakes up.

What is she still doing, you might ask....playing in her crib. No matter how much I turn her on her tummy or cover her up, she flips over and kicks off her blanket - to play.

This caused me to wonder how many diaper moments I've had with the Lord. You know, that one time when you are still and quiet and about to surrender over to Him, and all of a sudden you HAVE to do something that really could wait.

I know I have a lot of diaper moments....too many to count.
