I have a MAJOR confession to tell you. Lean in and I'll whisper it to you. A little closer. Just a little more! There! Now, brace yourself. I. Lost. My. Ring!!! It's not my wedding ring, good thing right!! I have lost one of my Christmas presents from this year from my Mr. I'm soo upset STILL!! I lost my sweet fish ring from James Avery. And Zach lost the receipt, so there is no getting it back!! Let me give you the skinny on what happened....
Each year, my brothers family comes into town for Christmas and they stay at my parents house for a few nights. The first year Z & I were married we followed suit, and spent the night at my folk's house too and have every year since. This year was no exception. While unloading, settling in, hanging out, my ring fell off!! We can't find it ANYWHERE!! It was snowy outside and icy, and we searched that night, and even the next day, and the next, yet we still came up empty-handed. Yep, just cracked myself up with that one! But, I'm pretty bummed. Z was so excited about getting me my "index finger ring" just for me to loose it no more than 4 days after. He's been so gracious about it all, but I'm praying that we just find it one day and all of this will be a bad dream!!
On the other hand, (pun intended), I don't wear my wedding ring anymore. All is well in Detwiler Land, but I've lost about 10ish lbs since being preggers and my wedding ring no longer fits! And since I'm not looking to score a world record with the most rings lost in a 3 month period, I have retired my wedding ring for a few months. This is also a bummer.
Now, to run away from all of these bummers, this week is suppose to be nice and warm!! I'm looking forward to a few walks with the Mr. & Little Z in the evenings!! I'm also looking forward to setting up a little boy's nursery!! I have a few ideas but once we nail everything down you will most definitely be seeing pictures!! :)
