I've been a little absorbed in summer and life to keep up with my blog lately. You'll have to accept my apologies, but I would like to invite you into our world to see what we've been doing lately. I'm HORRIBLE at capturing the summer on film, even digital film. However, I will use words to describe what we've been up too!!
- Lots of cartoon watching with the little soon-to-be 2 year old
- Lots of rearranging and redoing of the little soon-to-be 2 year old's room - it's now a "big girl" room. if we are friends on facebook, go take a look at her new room, there are pictures on there
- Lots of rearranging, painting, organizing and creating a sweet nursery for soon-to-be born little boy
- Due date is set for August 2nd, early morning. Unless he decides to come on his own. Let's be real here, I really wouldn't mind one bit if he DOES come early.
- Several day trips to Amarillo, which I love because I get to see my favorite 5 yr old and 2 1/2 yr old :)
- We have gone to the specialist twice for little man, and the second appt confirmed that there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with little man's kidneys!! This is exactly the news we wanted to hear, since we had to go much further with his big sister's kidney problems.
- The Mr. took a new job in May, so we've been adjusting to Daddy's new schedules and new duty's. He loves it, and since he loves it, I love it!
- Baby shower and washing of baby clothes....the second part will NEVER end. But, they are such little clothes that it's really pretty fun to do that laundry
- Lots of birthday's have been celebrated, with more to come before the summer closes out. Including a certain soon-to-be 2 yr old that lives in our home.
- Her party is going to be an ice cream party. I'm trying to get it all planned, organized and set-up since her little brother will be about 3 weeks old when her party happens. I'll be very sleep deprived and won't want to work at that point, so I'm trying to stop the stress before it starts!!
I know that there is a ton more that I could put on here, but honestly my mind is fairly blank!! I'll definitely post when little man gets here in a few weeks, but it's no guarantee that it will happen before then!! :) You understand I'm sure!! However, until then have a blessed summer and hopefully a fairly cool one too!!
